    Happy Last Day of 2003!

    Been a while since I dropped in here, so I figured I'd say hello and update my dedicated readers on the goings-on up here in beautiful Montana...

    We've had the privilege of having Marc, Mel, and Ava visiting since Christmas... it's been a lot of fun and great having family to spend the holidays with. They were also the good luck needed to have a white Christmas, which subsequently turned into a massive dumping of snow, the likes of which haven't been seen for many years, according to the grizzled locals. At Bridger Bowl (ski place 25 minutes from here) they had six feet of snow in one day... Marc and I did some snowboarding the day before and the day after the dumping, which was pretty cool.

    Ava's been a joy to have around... we hadn't seen her in a year or so, so now she's up walking around, trying to repeat the words we say. I think she's enjoyed her time in the snow, but I think she likes going up and down our stairs the most.

    Not much else exciting going on... Mystique got some fireworks for tonight, so we're looking forward to the New Year's happenings. We'll have to bundle up, but those fireworks are worth it!

    More later when exciting stuff comes up... I'm on the verge of finally buying my Zaurus PDA, so I'm sure I'll have tons of stuff to write about soon!

    Linux Tablet PC

    This place has a pretty cool looking tablet PC for $999 that runs linux. Wow... $999... that's a pretty good deal, I think. I'm not exactly in the market for a tablet PC, but if I were thinking about a new laptop, that'd be at the top of my list.
